Step 4: Registration & Orientation

Students attend a mandatory Foreign Study Orientation Meeting during the regular Pre-registration week. All paperwork must be submitted prior to this session.

At this meeting, students receive the codes to register via Fish 'R' Net. Students may disregard the usual individual time slots, as Foreign Study registration may only proceed after the required meeting.

Information covered at this meeting also includes preparation for the Foreign Study experience, travel, packing, culture shock, insurance, medications, housing, and return to campus. Usually former participants are on hand to pass along advice from a student perspective.
