Modern Languages and Cultures Program Requirements
Major in a Single Language
Available Majors: French, Spanish
Majors in French and Spanish require 33 credit hours including a mix of introductory and upper-level language courses and a cultural/linguistic immersion experience (i.e. study abroad) to a country where the language is spoken.

Minor in a Single Language
Minors Available: French, Spanish, German*, Italian*
Minors in a single language require 16-18 credit. Details can be found in the Modern Languages and Cultures section of the Undergraduate Catalog.
*German and Italian minors require coursework in cooperation with Nazareth College. This cooperative arrangement also allows for study in Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
Minor in Languages
Minoring in two languages requires three courses in one language, and at least two courses in another, totaling 16-18 credits.
