Psychology Research Opportunities
Students have the opportunity to pursue independent reading and/or research for course credit. PSYC496 (Fall) and PSYC497 (Spring) Independent Reading/Research are available by arrangement with a faculty mentor. Students may apply up to 6 hours of PSYC496/497 to their major.
PSYC496/497 Independent Reading/Research allows students to:
- Pursue an independent-study readings course in a particular area of interest under the guidance of a faculty mentor.
- Engage in research with a faculty member.
Requirements for PSYC496/497 are established in consultation with the faculty mentor.
