Fisher’s student chapter, which is housed in the School of Business, was one of 163 schools to be given the 2015-2016 Honorable Mention Award, signaling the superior growth and development opportunities the organization provided its members. Professor Shares Business Expertise through Fulbright, Aims to Erupt Economic Development on Volcanic Island of Rodrigues
04/28/2016This summer, Dr. Merouane Lakehal-Ayat, a professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance in the School of Business, will travel to Rodrigues, a small volcanic island in the heart of the Indian Ocean. His second trip to the island, he’ll be meeting with government officials and members of the Chamber of Commerce to analyze plans to grow the small country’s economy and ecotourism.
