Service in Pharmacy Practice & Administration

Healthcare, Clinical Practice, and Community Engagement

As role models for the development and implementation of collaborative medication therapy management (MTM) relationships with other health care providers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical interns and residents, social workers, therapists, medical/nursing/pharmacy students), department faculty have established themselves in a variety of pharmacy practice and healthcare management environments. As members of these multidisciplinary teams, they provide a unique learning environment for students who themselves actively participate in the patient care process through real-life, hands-on experiences rather than pre-programmed simulations or demonstrations.
