Practitioner Mentoring Program

The Wegmans School of Pharmacy has recently instituted a Practitioner Mentoring Program. We are excited about this program, as it provides an opportunity for first year students to begin establishing long-term professional relationships with experienced professionals in the field of Pharmacy.

All P1 (first-year) students will meet with a practicing pharmacist in a Community (outpatient) or Institutional (inpatient) setting who has agreed to be a mentor. If the student does not already have a mentor in mind, one will be assigned to them.

Students will meet with their mentor individually, either at the mentor's site location (preferred) or if unable to do so, here on campus. Students will arrange a separate, one-time, one-hour meeting with their mentor to occur before the end of the fall semester. More information is provided during orientation.
