Lynn Donahue (Director, Center for Service-Learning and Experiential Learning Support)
Dr. Lynn Donahue received her M.Ed. in College Student Personnel in 1992 and Ed.D. in Educational Administration, with a concentration in Higher Education, from the University of Rochester in 2001. Lynn was the principle investigator of the 2009-2012 Learn and Serve America Grant through the Corporation for National and Community Service that funded Fisher’s first service-learning initiative and of a 2012-2013 Gannett Foundation Grant. Service-learning and civic engagement became a priority of the College’s 2012-2017 Strategic Plan and Lynn headed the development of a Center for Service-Learning and Civic Development and then the 2015 Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement self-study and application process. Lynn has taught in the Peace and Social Justice Studies program and at the University of Rochester’s Warner Graduate School for Education. Publications and presentations have focused on student-learning outcomes of leaderless group discussions, learning communities, and service-learning pedagogy, community partnerships, and assessment.
