10/15/2014On Friday, October 10, the front lawn of Kearney Hall got a little more special. The families of the late Mark Muench ’77 and the late Michael Thornton ’76 gathered with Fisher representatives to plant the Muench Giving Tree and the Thornton Oak in honor of the two alumni, friends who passed away within one year of each other. 10/15/2014President Bain announced his upcoming retirement this past summer, and will be spending time during his last academic year with the College on a road trip to meet with alumni across the country. Read More
10/15/2014The second lecture in the First Friday Lecture Series, which is focused on a sustainability theme this fall, will feature Dr. Michael L. Boller, Associate Professor of Biology and Sustainability Program Director. Boller will present, “Sustaining a College: Teaching and Practicing Sustainability at Fisher.” The lecture will take place on Friday, November 7, in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center Board Room at 10:00 a.m., and will include a 9:00 a.m. mass followed by breakfast. Read More
10/03/2014St. John Fisher College inducted five alumni into the College’s Science and Technology Hall of Fame at a ceremony on October 2. The induction took place during the College’s Alumni Weekend, which runs through Sunday, October 5. Read More
09/29/2014The annual Alumni Weekend kicks off this Wednesday, October 1, and will last through Sunday, October 5, and celebrations include award ceremonies, class reunions, golf tournaments, the popular alumni tailgating event and Cardinal Carnival at the football game, and more. Read More
09/16/2014This fall, the First Friday Lecture Series will focus on a sustainability theme, with the kick-off lecture scheduled for Friday, October 3, as part of Alumni Weekend festivities. Joel Kraft, Executive Chef of Lackmann Culinary Services, will present, “Cooking in a Sustainable World.” The series is sponsored by the College's 1948 Society. Read More
