Notes from the Toddler Room

Dear Families,

How can it be March already??!! February was another fabulous month for us and we are excited for March as well! We have a new friend in our room named Natalie, and she has been warmly welcomed by our kiddos. Several in our class are now trying out the potty, and we are so proud of their great efforts!! Keep up the good work!!

Looking forward to our Dr. Seuss birthday dinner celebration! I hear it is quite the entertaining evening. See you all there! You will also see on the calendar that on March 4 we will be reading our Fox in Sox book. Naturally we will be on the lookout for any crazy socks that are being worn that day! The wackier, the better. Also coming up in March we will be focusing one week on learning about ourselves...what I look like, what I enjoy doing, etc. On Wednesday of that week (March 11) we will have our version of show and tell. If your child would like to bring in something to show us from home (a favorite toy, book, cuddly item, etc), we will make sure it gets back home safely! They are always so proud to share with the group at circle time! Our alphabet week will just barely touch on our letters, but still is a fun introduction to the ABC's. Then giddy-up and get ready for cowboy week, buckaroos! We are so excited that we will have 5 days of cowboy songs and yee-haws. ANY DAY this week please feel free to dress your little one in ANY type of cowboy gear that you may have...boots, bandanas, etc, and we will certainly show these off during our circle time roundup!

As always, any concerns or questions please share with us!!

Sincerely,
Francesca and Shannon
