Blackboard Overview

Blackboard is the course management system at Fisher. Blackboard accounts for faculty and students are created automatically. You can access Blackboard at https://blackboard.sjfc.edu using your Fisher network credentials. For problems logging in to Blackboard or any general Blackboard questions, please contact the OIT Help Desk.

For Faculty

For additional support on using Blackboard in your courses, there are a variety of options available to you.

• Attend a training session – Blackboard Basic and Advanced training sessions are held at the beginning of each semester. Please check the Workshops & Events page for an up-to-date list of events.
• Request a one-on-one training – If you have specific Blackboard questions or would like to learn about the advanced features of Blackboard, including blogs, wikis, rubrics, grading, etc., schedule an appointment for a one-on-one training session with the Educational Technologist.
• Review Fisher-specific Blackboard documentation (at right)
• Visit Blackboard’s On Demand Learning Center for additional documentation and tutorials on the features available in your courses.

For Students
