Personal Network Space
Saving is very important and must been done often. To limit the loss of data and work you must remember that there are many ways to save work on campus and off. All students are given 250 MB of network space accessible on and off campus. Student network space is the recommend way of saving because our server is routinely backed up.
Along with your Gmail account at Fisher all students have access to Google Documents, soon to be named Google Drive. This allows you 25GB of data storage. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. The free cloud storage feature replacing Google Docs is called Google Drive and allows users to store all types of files on the Google servers.
Additionally, students can securely store files on their network storage drive. This storage space, which is backed up daily, is sometimes referred to as the “P” drive.
