After Hours Care

If an emergency occurs when the Wellness Center is closed, you should call 911 immediately.

St. John Fisher College security personnel are available 24 hours a day for illnesses, injuries and accidents - you may reach them by calling 585-385-8111.

FONE MED

The Wellness Center now offers FONE MED, an on-call triage service (on-call RN) that is available to answer medical concerns that may arise when the Wellness Center is not open. The service is not for emergencies - off campus emergency calls should still go to 911, while on-campus emergencies should call Security at x8111. FONE MED can be reached at 877-799-6838.

Undergraduate Students

As part of your student health fee, FONE MED is offered at no cost for non-emergent calls that the student feels need to be addressed prior to the opening of the Wellness Center.

Graduate/Pharmacy Students

FONE MED is offered for non-emergent calls that the student feels need to be addressed prior to the opening of the Wellness Center. Though there is a fee per call of $16.95 that will be charged to the student, this service may prevent the need for an Urgent Care or Emergency Room visit.

Walk-In Centers

If you need medical attention that is not an emergency, the following walk-in centers are available in close proximity to the college. These facilities will treat minor illness, injuries and accidents. They have x-ray equipment on site and can also do suturing of lacerations. Please contact them for further information as needed.
