On Thursday, May 9, the Class of 2013 presented President Bain with a class gift in the amount of $3,000 during the Senior Convocation. The class gift will be put towards the College’s scholarship funds.

St. John Fisher College held its 59th Commencement on Saturday, May 11, welcoming over 1,100 graduates into the alumni family. David McCullough, Pulitzer-prize-winning author and historian, delivered an inspiring keynote speech to the graduates, encouraging them to read, write, and continue learning.

A particular group of senior nursing majors had been looking ahead to their finals weeks as Fisher students, which they would spend in Peru to complete their final clinical rotation. The group of 11 Wegmans School of Nursing students and two faculty took off on April 13 for a trip they now call “life and career-changing.”
