Professor Shares Business Expertise through Fulbright, Aims to Erupt Economic Development on Volcanic Island of Rodrigues

This summer, Dr. Merouane Lakehal-Ayat, a professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance in the School of Business, will travel to Rodrigues, a small volcanic island in the heart of the Indian Ocean. His second trip to the island, he’ll be meeting with government officials and members of the Chamber of Commerce to analyze plans to grow the small country’s economy and ecotourism. Lakehal-Ayat was tapped to serve as an expert counsel to the country through the Fulbright Senior Specialist program. Read More

Unither Scholars Program Benefits Wegmans School of Pharmacy Students

Thanks to a grant from Unither Pharmaceuticals, the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy has created the new Unither Scholars program. The program will provide $5,000 to two third-year pharmacy students each year for the next four years. The scholarship will help offset the cost of tuition. Read More

St. John Fisher College Joins Fringe

This fall, St. John Fisher College will join the 2016 First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival as an associate higher educational partner.
