The mission of the St. John Fisher College Community Service Department is to provide and promote a variety of community service activities that will appeal to all the members of the Fisher family.

SWAV Trip Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Community Includes Service, Culture

For the 3rd year in a row, Students With A Vision (SWAV) spent their recess weekend at Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Community, a small Mohawk/Kanienkahaka community on the north bank of the Mohawk River, west of Fonda, New York. A total of nine Fisher students and faculty teamed up with a group of Nazareth students to provide service and immerse themselves into the culture from October 9-11. Read More

Dozens of students from the East Rochester School District and the Rochester City School District’s “Horizons” summer camp program recently spent a week on the St. John Fisher College campus for “Discover at Fisher” week, learning about a variety of career options and more.
