The Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Programs provides opportunities for the College community to participate in programs and activities that promote awareness of cultural, social, economic, racial, gender, and other forms of diversity in our society.
Six events in January celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Programs, the events run from Monday, Jan. 18 through Thursday, Jan. 21, and features meals, dialogues, and film screenings, among other events.
Dr. Arlette Miller Smith, director of the African American Studies program and founding dean and past director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Programs at St. John Fisher College, will deliver the annual Martin Luther King Memorial Lecture at the College at Brockport on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016. The lecture begins at 7 p.m. in the Seymour Union Ballroom.
