What's New with Housing Selection

Additional Single Rooms

This year, 3 new singles in Keough Hall will be available during the housing selection process.

More Payment Options for Credit Card Users

This year, you will be able to pay your housing deposit online [pdf] using Fish 'R' Net. Students who pay the housing deposit using a credit card now have the option of using: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and VISA.

An Update to Group Selection Numbers

For doubles, triples, connecting rooms and suites, the group selection number will be the average of the selection numbers of all of the students who want to live in the room. This year, an averaged group selection number will be used for double rooms, in addition to triples, connecting rooms and suites. Historically, the group selection number for double rooms was the better of the two housing selection numbers for a roommate pair. Students participating in housing selection without a roommate/group will use their housing selection number.

Founders Hall Eligibility

This year, all students in upper-class housing tiers will be eligible to live in Founders. Founders Hall is not available to students who are in Housing Tier FY1 or FY2.

Improved Housing Application Experience

The housing application on ResLife Online has been redesigned in a more intuitive format. Students will have an opportunity to check their housing deposit status and preference their room type and building within the housing application.

Ward Hall

This year, Ward Hall will not be available as a choice during the housing selection process. Murray Hall is still available for women who wish to live in a connecting room. In addition, the four person suites in Founders Hall are available to all upper-class housing tiers.
