Program Overview

The program relies heavily on primary texts, secondary literature, and computerized data resources. Throughout the curriculum, you will actively use whichever language or languages you are studying as part of the minor.

You also will benefit from the program’s emphasis on critical awareness of cultural variations and issues in world civilizations and global regions where the language(s) is/are spoken.

Fisher's extensive study abroad program (which you are strongly encouraged to take advantage of) makes gaining proficiency in your chosen language through immersion easy and exciting.
