At the College, Tubiolo serves as program director for an Archaeological Field School at the Mills Mansion site, a course delivered through a partnership between St. John Fisher College and the Mount Morris Historical Society. During the course, students spend six weekends learning excavation and artifact treatment at the early 19th century National Landmark homestead of Maj. Gen. William Augustus Mills in the Genesee Valley of Western New York. The restored 19th century mansion contains on-site labs and serves as base of operations, where team members participate in excavation and laboratory processing of artifacts from all time periods.
Tubiolo is a past president of the Lewis Henry Morgan Chapter of the New York State Archaeological Association, and now serves as trustee for the chapter.
