The event, which takes place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, will feature 16 teams and provide a platform for students to showcase their scientific and analytical skills. The competition not only helps students to develop their scientific skills but also fosters teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Events and activities will be held in the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletic Center Fieldhouse, and various other locations across campus.

Notable events include:

Flight: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Athletic Center
Preceding the tournament, teams will construct a free-flight rubber-powered aircraft, collect data from test flights, analyze the results, and optimize the aircraft design to achieve maximum aloft time.

Air Trajectory: 9 a.m. to noon in the Athletic Center
Prior to the competition, participating teams will be required to design, build, and calibrate a singular device capable of launching projectiles at a target while simultaneously gathering data on device parameters and performance.

Wheeled Vehicle: 9 a.m. to noon in the Athletic Center
The teams are required to design, construct, and test a single vehicle that exclusively employs an elastic, non-metallic material for propulsion to traverse a specific distance as efficiently and accurately as possible.

Roller Coaster: 11 a.m. to noon in the Athletic Center
Preceding the competition, teams are responsible for designing, constructing, and testing a Roller Coaster track capable of propelling a ball or sphere using only gravitational potential energy as the driving force.
