Dr. Sutton Burke received her Pharm.D. from the University of Buffalo after receiving her Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Dietetics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. She went on to complete a PGY-1 residency in community pharmacy at the University of Rochester Medical Center (Rochester, NY), followed by a PGY-2 residency in ambulatory care pharmacy at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY).

Prior to joining the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, Dr. Sutton Burke practiced as a clinical pharmacy specialist in ambulatory care for Kaiser Permanente of Georgia (Atlanta, GA). During her time as a clinical pharmacist, Dr. Sutton Burke worked under a collaborative practice agreement to manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. She also participated in medication therapy management and was actively involved in the PGY-1 managed care pharmacy residency program.

Dr. Sutton Burke joined the faculty at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy during the summer of 2015 and practices community pharmacy with Wegmans Food Markets.

Dr. Sutton Burke is board certified in ambulatory care pharmacy and her research interests include diabetes, respiratory illnesses, geriatric pharmacotherapy, and community pharmacy practice.
