Dr. Slish received her B.S. in pharmacy and Pharm.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed a PGY-1 residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and PGY-2 residency in infectious diseases at the Mayo Clinic-Rochester Minnesota. After completion of her residency, she was an assistant professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo with a clinical site at Erie County Medical Center for six years prior to joining the Wegmans School of Pharmacy.

In 2007, Dr. Slish joined the Wegmans School of Pharmacy as an associate professor of pharmacy practice.

Dr. Slish provides clinical pharmacy services and precepts fourth year pharmacy students at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She is part of the infectious disease consult service. She has been highly involved within pharmacy organizations and advocacy, and has been the past president of Pharmacist Association of Western New York and Pharmacist Society of the State of New York. Dr. Slish holds many memberships in multiple state and national pharmacy organizations.

Dr. Slish’s research interests include antibiotic stewardship, clostridium difficile, antibiotic use in bone cement, and HIV/HCV drug interactions.
